Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MegaBrain Workspace Sensor 24x7, a private service operated by Lumantis in Canada, accesses and protects Google user data.
1. Purpose of the service
The service performs scheduled readiness checks against specifically approved Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets test resources. Its sole purpose is to confirm that Lumantis's private operational systems can authenticate and read those resources when required.
2. Google data accessed
The service requests the OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly. It may read metadata and content from designated test files and folders solely to confirm API, permission, and resource availability. It cannot create, edit, move, or delete Google files.
3. How data is used
Google data is used only during automated health checks. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, training generalized artificial-intelligence models, or any purpose unrelated to the readiness check.
4. Storage and retention
Google file contents and API response bodies are processed transiently and are not persisted by the monitor. Operational logs contain health status and limited technical diagnostics only; they do not contain OAuth secrets or Google document contents and are retained under normal secured server log rotation.
5. Sharing and disclosure
Lumantis does not sell, rent, advertise with, or disclose Google user data to third parties. Processing is limited to Google's API infrastructure and the secured private server used to run the monitor. Disclosure may occur only when legally required.
6. Security
Access is protected through least-privilege OAuth scopes, restricted credential files, key-based administrative access, firewall controls, and automated monitoring. Credentials are never included in public source code or application logs.
7. Control and deletion
The authorized Google account holder may revoke the application's access at any time through Google Account security settings. Revocation immediately prevents future readiness checks. Because the monitor does not retain Google file contents, it has no stored copy of that content to delete.
8. Google API Services policy
The service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Contact
Privacy or access questions may be sent to the user-support address displayed on the Google OAuth authorization screen for MegaBrain Workspace Sensor 24x7.
